cats

I stared intently at the wild animal I no longer know. Its long orange body were stripped with long killer black stripes. Its roar echoed from miles to miles away as it tears its food muscle from muscle. Then, it stopped and stared up at me. Our eyes met with an empty foreign air. I no longer know Tipper anymore….

A wild cat…… is not a pet cat. All these years I dismissed this fact, yet deep down I knew, one day, it would happen. I would lose him eventually……

Growing up in a remote village in Thailand , the forest was my playmate. One day, Tipper appeared out of the forest, injured, and orphaned. As a six year old, Tipper appeared as a beautiful cat in my eyes. Therefore I took him home and cared for him.
However, when I took him home, my parents were furious.

“ Are you insane? How could you bring that beast back home! Do you want to get us all all killed?” My parents would lament.

However, I refused to give in as I continued to care for Tipper, whom to me was always a faithful cat. Until one day…..
